How to Browse the Data Model
In order to access the Data Model Browser, click on the Data Model Browser link
in the Tools and More Information box on the Home Page of this website. The Data
Model Browser web pages display the Education Data Model content.
The sections below explain the functions of the Data Model Browser.
Menu
The vertical list on the left of the screen allows for quick navigation up and down
the class branches and to easily move from one
branch to another. Every clickable item in the list opens up a sub-list (a lower
level branch). Each list item represents a class or a subclass until the lowest
level item, representing the entity is reached
at the end of a branch (called the leaf node).

into the box and press the Go button. Any classes, or entities whose name contains
the term is returned in a list of classes and a list of entities. Click on one of
the items in the list and you will go to the page for that class or entity.

screen below. Select the fields you want to search by checking one or more check
boxes. A list of classes and/or entities will be returned. Click on one of the items
in the list and you will go to the page for that class or entity.
